The gender situation has worsened since the 2012: of the 13 recent issues, none have 50% or more of women authors. As the table below shows, female authors only amount to 20% (as opposed to 30% in the previous study).
It doesn't seem that the presence of a co-author improves a woman's chances to be published anymore (22% vs. 18%). Just in case, in order to check for the effect of coauthorship, I compared the numbers of female and male authors in co-authored articles, whose authors had the same gender (i.e., all female or all male). There were 23 such articles, 4 all-female and 19 all-male (i.e., 17% female articles), with 8 female authors and 40 male authors (i.e., 17% female authors). In other words, there is no evidence for discrimination since LI decided to pass to double-blind reviewing in summer 2012.
